| Sharp Cheddar | 1 lb | |
| Onion | 1 tsp | Grated |
| Worcestershire Sauce | 1 tsp | |
| Paprika | ½ tsp | |
| Parsely | For outside of log | |
| Ground Nuts | For outside of log | |
| Dried Beef | For outside of log |
Method
- Let cheddar and cream cheese come to room temperature
- In meantime, grate onion and finely chop dried beef
- Cut cheddar into small pieces
- Beat together cheedar and cream cheese
- Add onion, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika. Beat more.
- Shape into log 6 inches long and 2.5 inches in diameter
- Roll in Parsely, Ground Nuts, and/or Chopped Dried Beef
- Refrigerate until serving

Modern Notes
- The original recipe just says to prepare in the same manner as the previous recipe for balls. I guessed some in writing this down as a complete recipe. You may need to adjust the outer layer. –David S
