Ingredients

| Asparagus | 2 boxes | |
| Cheese | ½ lb | Velveeta, American, or Cheddar |
| Butter | ⅔ cup | Melted |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Cayenne | Few grains |
Method
- Cook asparagus as directed
- Drain asparagus and transfer to greased shallow pan
- Sprinkle cheese on asparagus
- Melt butter and pour over cheese
- Salt to taste
- Add Cayenne
- Put under broiler until cheese browns slightly
