Stuffed Green Peppers

| Ground Beef | 1½ lbs | Recipe calls for Chuck |
| Onions | 4 | Cut up |
| Green Peppers | 6 | |
| Worcestershire Sauce | To Taste | |
| Seasoned Salt | To Taste | |
| Seasoned Pepper | To Taste | |
| Garlic Powder | To Taste | |
| Rice | 2 cups | |
| Sugar | 1 tsp | |
| Ragu Sauce | 2 cups | |
| Cheese | Grated - Optional |
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 °F
- Cut tops off green peppers, and cut peppers in half lengthwise
- Set aside peppers halves
- Cut up pepper tops
- Cut up onions
- Brown beef, onions and cut up pepper tops
- Cook 2 cups rice in 4 cups water on low heat, with the lid on, for 25 minutes
- Add rice to beef mixture
- Add Worcestershire Sauce, Seasoned Salt + Pepper, and Garlic powder to taste
- Add sugar and Ragu sauce
- Mix well and fill pepper halves
- Place stuffed peppers in oven-safe pan
- Add ½ inch of water
- Bake for 1 hour
- If desired, place a little grated cheese on each pepper
