| Flour | 2 cups | sifted |
| Baking Powder | 3 tsp | |
| Sugar | 1 cup | |
| Salt | 1 tsp | |
| Cheddar Cheese | 1 cup | coarsely chopped |
| Margarine | ⅓ cup | softened |
| Milk | ⅔ cup |
Method
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Stir in cheese, margarine, and milk.
- Mix lightly with a fork to make a soft dough.
- Shape into a round, pat and knead 3-4 times.
- Pat out ½” thick.
- Cut out 12 rolls with a biscuit cutter.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 15 mins or until golden brown.
