Cake ‘n Cheese Cake

Method
- Preheat oven to 325 F.
- Grease and flour 10” pie plate at least 2” deep.
Prepare the Cheese Filling
- Cream together 2/3 cup sugar and cream cheese.
- Add 1/2 cup sour cream and 1 tsp vanilla.
- Blend 2 unbeaten eggs into mix, one at a time.
- Beat well and set aside.
Prepare the Cake Base
- Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt, and set aside.
- Cream butter, 2/3 cup sugar, and remaining 2 eggs, one at a time.
- Stir in milk and 1 tsp vanilla.
- Add dry ingredients to this mix and blend well.
Combine and Bake
- Spread batter over bottom and sides of pie plate.
- Spoon cheese mixture over batter.
- Bake 40-45 minutes.
- Make sour cream topping. Mix 1 cup sour cream, 2 Tblsp sugar, and 1 tsp vanilla.
- Spread cheese portion with topping.
- Bake 5 mins more.
- Cool and chill overnight, or at least 4 hours.
