| Baking Powder | 1 tsp | |
| Salt | 1 tsp | |
| Butter | 1 tsp | |
| Whole Kernel Corn | 1 cup | drained |
| Fat | for frying |
Method
- Beat eggs.
- Stir in milk.
- Add flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Beat in melted butter.
- Add corn.
- Add fat to frying pan and heat to 375°F.
- Drop batter by Tablespoon into fat.
- Makes 12-15 fritters.
Notes From Gran
Apple slices or banana quarters, dipped in butter, can be used as a substitute for corn.
