| Cheddar Cheese | ½ lb | Grated |
| Cream Cheese | 6 oz | Original recipe called for 2 small packages. Philadelpia used to sell in 3 Oz blocks |
| Butter | ½ lb | |
| Egg Whites | 2 | |
| Bread | Cubed |
Method
- Melt Chedder, Cream Cheese, and Butter together in double boiler
- Cool
- Beat egg whites to stiff peaks and add to cooled cheese mixture
- Cube bread
- Dip cubed bread into Cheese + Egg white mixture
- Freeze cheese-covered bread cubes until ready to use
- Preheat oven to 450°F
- Bake for 10 minutes
