Ingredients

Ingredient Amount Notes
Top Round Beef 1½ lbs Ground
Onion ½ cup Finely Chopped
Chili Sauce ¼ cup  
Horseradish 2 tsp  
Worcestershire Sauce 1 tsp  
Salt 1¼ tsp  
Pepper To Taste  
Accent ¼ tsp This is MSG, sold as Ac’cent today
Prepared Mustard 2 tsp  
Bread 1 loaf Fresh

Method

  1. Preheat Broiler
  2. Split Bread lengthwise
  3. Butter both halves
  4. Combine other ingredients and mix lightly
  5. Pile mixture ½ inch thick to edges of bread halves
  6. Broil 6 inches from heat for 15 minutes or until done
  7. Cut into each halve into thirds or quarters for serving
