Beef Casserole

Ingredients

| Ground Beef | 1½ lbs | |
| Green Peppers | 1 lb | Chopped |
| Onions | 1 lb | Chopped |
| Celery | 6 ribs | With leaves - Cut fine |
| Mushrooms | 8 oz | Recipe specifies one 8 Oz can |
| Tomato Soup | 1 can | |
| Tomato Sauce | 1 large can | |
| Stuffed Olives | 1 small jar | |
| Pennsylvania Dutch Noodles | 1 lb | Cooked |
| American Cheese | ½ lb | Grated |
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 °F
- Cook noodles and drain
- Chop Green Peppers, and Onions
- Finely cut up Celery
- Brown meat slightly
- Add Onions, peppers, and Celery
- Steam until tender
- Add mushrooms, tomato soup, tomato sauce, cooked Noodles, and Olives
- Mix well and transfer to roasting pan
- Grate cheese if necessary and put on top of roasting pan
- Bake 15 to 20 minutes until cheese is light brown
Notes From Gran
- Gran prefers to bake this 1 hour, then add the cheese and bake longer until cheese is light brown.
