| Potatoes | 4 med | Raw, peeled, thinly sliced |
| Mushrooms | 4 oz | Sliced, drained |
| Water | 1 cup | |
| Onion Soup Mix | 1 envelope | Recipe specifies Lipton brand |
| Butter | For baking dish |
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 °F
- Peel and thinly slice potatoes
- Drain and slice mushrooms
- Brown pork chops in large skillet
- Drain on paper towels
- Butter oblong baking dish
- Arrange potatoes, mushrooms, and chops in baking dish
- Combine soup mix and water
- Pour soup mix over meat
- Cover with foil
- Bake 1¼ hour or until potatoes are tender
