Ingredients

Pork Chops 6 1 inch thick
Potatoes 4 med Raw, peeled, thinly sliced
Mushrooms 4 oz Sliced, drained
Water 1 cup  
Onion Soup Mix 1 envelope Recipe specifies Lipton brand
Butter   For baking dish

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F
  2. Peel and thinly slice potatoes
  3. Drain and slice mushrooms
  4. Brown pork chops in large skillet
  5. Drain on paper towels
  6. Butter oblong baking dish
  7. Arrange potatoes, mushrooms, and chops in baking dish
  8. Combine soup mix and water
  9. Pour soup mix over meat
  10. Cover with foil
  11. Bake 1¼ hour or until potatoes are tender
