| Butter | For casserole | |
| Salt | ||
| Pepper | ||
| Paprika | ||
| Cream Of Mushroom Soup | 1 can | |
| Cream Of Chicken Soup | 1 can | |
| Sauterne | ½ cup | This is a sweet wine - Use Sauterne or Sherry, not both |
| Sherry | ½ cup | Use Sauterne or Sherry, not both |
| Onions | 1 bag | Optional - Frozen |
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 °F
- Butter Casserole dish
- Cut up frying chicken
- Shake chicken in seasoned flour
- Brown Chicken in Crisco
- Place into buttered Casserole
- Add generous amounts of salt, pepper, and Paprika
- Add soups, undilted
- Add Sauterne or Sherry
- Add bag of frozen onions, if desired
- Refrigerate at this point, if preparing ahead of time
- Bake 1 hour
