Chicken and Ham Bake

Ingredients

| Onion | ¼ cup | chopped |
| Margarine | ¼ cup | or butter |
| Parsley Flakes | 2 Tbsp | |
| Black Pepper | ⅛ tsp | |
| Poultry Seasoning | ½ tsp | See modern notes |
| Cracker Crumbs | 1 cup | |
| Water | ¼ cup | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Chicken | 1½ cup | cooked and chopped |
| Cheese | ¼ lb cubed + ¼ lb sliced | |
| Ham | 6 slices | boiled |
Method
- Preheat oven to bake at 350° F.
- Sauté onion in margarine or butter.
- Add parsley, pepper, poultry seasoning, cracker crumbs, water, egg, chicken, and cubed cheese. Mix well.
- Place 1 large spoonful of mixture in center of each slice of ham and fold ham over mixture.
- Place stuffed and rolled ham in 6”x 10”x 2” pan.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake 25 min. Then remove foil.
- Lay slices of cheese on center of ham rolls.
- Return to oven uncovered for 5 min or until cheese is melted.

- Makes 6 servings.
Modern Notes
- Poultry seasoning is a blend of sage, thyme, marjoram, rosemary, oregano, and nutmeg.
