German Potato Salad

Ingredients

| Bacon | ½ lb | |
| Vinegar | ¾ cup | |
| Eggs | 2 | well beaten |
| White Potatoes | 12 | |
| Salt | To taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
| Celery | Finely sliced | |
| Celery Seed | ||
| Onion | 1 large | cut very fine |
Method
- Cut Bacon into small pieces
- Fry slightly
- Stir in vinegar
- Beat egss well and add
- Let sit until mixture thickens
- Boil potatoes in salted water
- Let potatoes cool enough to handle
- Slice potatoes
- Add salt to taste and plenty of pepper
- Finely slice cleery and add to potatoes
- Slice onion very fine and add to potatoes
- Add bacon mixture
