Ingredients

| Butter | 3 Tbsp | |
| Onions | 3 med | Chopped |
| Green Pepper | 1 med | Sliced |
| Mushrooms | ½ lb | Sliced - Fresh or Canned |
| Light Cream | 1½ cups | |
| Flour | 1½ Tbsp | |
| Ham | 1 cup | Cooked - Diced |
| Pimento | 1 | Diced |
| Egg | 1 yolk | Slightly beaten |
| Salt | to taste | |
| Pepper | to taste | |
| Prepared Mustard | ½ tsp | |
| Spaghetti | ½ lb | Cooked |
Method
- Cook spaghetti and prepare sauce as follows while it cooks
- Chop Onions
- Slice pepper
- Slice mushrooms if not pre-sliced
- Melt butter in large kettle
- Add onions, pepper, and mushrooms
- Cook and stir until lightly browned
- Mix cream with flour and stir in
- Add a little water
- Cool and stir until thickened
- Add ham and pimento
- Bring to boiling point
- Lightly beat and add egg yolk
- Season to taste and add mustard
- Serve over hot cooked spaghetti
